Robert F Griffin, Sr

Robert F Griffin, Sr of Sanford Maine, formerly of Bridgewater Massachusetts passed away on May 7th 2019 at Gosnel Hospice House, Scarborough Maine surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Weymouth Massachusetts 81 years ago Son of the late Cathryn Powers and Robert F Griffin.

Bob enlisted in the the US Navy and served from 1957-1963, where he was a photographer and then was a dedicated food salesman for many years. Bob enjoyed being with his family and caring for dogs, he loved movies, books, music and Drum and Bugle Core. Bob especially loved vacationing with his wife in Chatham and was a Patriots Fan. Bob was a friend of Bill W. for 31 years, where he made many friends he considered his family and spent much of his time as a sponser and supporting others.

Bob was the husband of the late Madeline M Griffin, father of the late Madeline M Griffin and Suzanne M Casale. Bob is survived by his son Robert F Griffin Jr. and his wife Jayne of Sanford, Maine  and his daughter Pam Pierce of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, also his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery 103 Center Street Bridgewater MA, Friday  May 17th at 11:30am.
