Robert Whorf Joslin

MARION – Robert Whorf Joslin, 99, of Marion, died June 26, 2017 in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the husband of Marjorie S. (Stitt) Joslin and the son of the late Ivan and Alta (Whorf) Joslin.

He was born in Melrose, MA on Dec. 13, 1917 and lived in Marion for many years.

Mr. Joslin graduated from Melrose High School and New England School of Art.

He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air Corps.

Mr. Joslin worked as a Graphic Designer for Sippican Corporation for many years. He was also a talented watercolor artist and professional bass player.

Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Joslin, Jr. of Greenfield and Peter A. Joslin of Seoul, Korea; two daughters, Betsy J. Foster of Rochester and Nancy Francis of Kent, WA; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

His services will be private.
