Rose M. DeChristopher

1924 ∼ 2018

Rose M. DeChristopher of East Bridgewater died peacefully January 2, 2018 at the age of 93. Rose was born in Brockton, daughter of Mary and George Unis. She was raised and educated in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She had made her home in East Bridgewater the past 55 years. She was employed at the Joppa Grill for 30 years. She was an active member of the Catholic Women’s Guild for many years and enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino.

Rose was the devoted wife of the late George DeChristopher. Loving mother of Francis DeChristopher and his wife Joyce of East Bridgewater, Daniel DeChristopher and his wife Jeanne of East  Bridgewater and Mark DeChristopher of Attleboro. Sister of Beatrice Seropian of FL, Mary Davidson of Barnstable, George Unis of Brockton and the late Helen Lescault, Mae Sweeney and Joseph Unis. Rose is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Susan Perry of East Bridgewater, Gina DeChristopher of   Bridgewater, Daniel DeChristopher Jr. and Jenna DeChristopher of East Bridgewater, Bret and Kurt DeChristopher of Florida. She also had 5 great grandchildren, Emma, Lauren and Madelynn Perry and Bailee and Kurt Jr. DeChristopher.

Funeral from the East Bridgewater Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 35 Spring Street East Bridgewater Tuesday, January 9th  at 9:00am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John's Church East Bridgewater at 10:00am.
