Rosemarie L. Whelan

1927 ∼ 2017

Rosemarie L. Whelan (DiPanni) died September 1, 2017 on her 90th birthday. She was the wife of the late Stephen Whelan. Mother of Robert D. Rizzie of Brockton and grandmother of Robert W. Rizzie of FL.  Rosemarie also leaves 2 sisters, Jean Sugrue of Hyde Park and Joanne Ramey of Wilmore, KY, her devoted friend of many years Donna Lund of Quincy, 5 stepchildren and 9 nieces and nephews.

Rosemarie was raised in Minnesota and South Boston. She worked for many years in the house keeping department at Brockton Hospital. She was an animal lover who also enjoyed growing plants and flowers.
 
Visiting hours will be held in the Prophett-Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater Wednesday, September 6th from 5-7pm. A Memorial  Mass will be held  in St. Thomas Aquinas Church Thursday at  10:30 am.

A private burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon.
