Rosemary A. Chaplain, 74, of Brockton died on December 27, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Stacia (Martynowski) and William Bertram Chaplain. Rosemary was born and raised in Brockton and attended Brockton High where she graduated in 1962. She worked at Chadwick’s Clothing in West Bridgewater as a customer service representative.

Rosemary loved the beach and had many happy memories of time spent at her parent’s cottage in Wareham.  Rosemary loved listening to music and dancing.  Some of her fondest memories were spent attending dances with her dear friend and classmate, Mrs. Franny Finch of Brockton.  Rosemary was happiest walking her beloved dog Bailey. She also enjoyed hockey and watching the Bruins.

Rosemary is survived by her cousins Marian Diane Arrighi of Bridgewater, Walter Martynowski of Brockton, Robert Martynowski of New Hampshire, Kelly Arrighi-Casey of Berkley, Colleen Zentz of East Bridgewater, Robert Arrighi of Bridgewater, Brian Arrighi of Fairhaven, Eddie and Donna Martynowski of Marshfield, Brian Martynowski of Pembroke, and Susan Martynowski of Marshfield.  She is predeceased by her cousins; the late Ann Johnson of Marshfield and the late Karen Kelly of Marshfield. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives. 

There will be a private remembrance held by the family.
