Sandra Jean Testa

Sandra Jean Testa, age 73, passed away abruptly on April 6, 2017 in the company of her loved ones in Falmouth, MA after a brief battle with cancer.  Sandy was born on July 16, 1943, in Waltham, MA, the daughter of Joseph and Alice Sennett.

Sandy spent nearly her entire life in Waltham before retiring on Cape Cod. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School as well as Waltham Public School, and married the love of her life and high school sweetheart Frederick Testa at age 20. In addition to raising two boys, Sandy adored all children, and would always find the most loving ways to bring joy to young people. Sandra was a gifted sculptor, and an avid consumer of diverse knowledge, especially nutrition, and was always one to offer health and spiritually related advice to all who knew her. Sandy was a bird lover, and had a passionate affinity for nature, trees, and all animals.

Family and friends were Sandra’s highest joy, and she spent the greater portion of her life extending herself to others in the most touching ways, bringing smiles and joy to nearly everyone she encountered. She was the epitome of kindness, and had a very sweet, thoughtful, and generously affectionate demeanor. Sandy also enjoyed spending time on Martha’s Vineyard via the family boat with her husband Fred and 2 sons. Sandra was also a licensed Esthetician and operated a skincare business in the 90’s, in addition, she was a volunteer at Falmouth Hospital.

A spiritual woman to the core, Sandra was well read in the Saints, and had undeterable faith right up to her last. Her faith was a shining light to others. A truly virtuous woman, with high ideals, high principles, and high moral standards, Sandy’s presence will be sorely missed in the lives of all who knew her, she was that kind of person; a testament of unconditional love towards all people and creatures.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Frederick Testa; her sons, Carl and David Testa; her grandson, Frederick C. Testa; her sisters Mary Ellen and Sharon, and her brothers David and James Sennett. She was predeceased by her siblings Bob, Jody, and Don Sennett.
