Sara Theresa Noonan

CENTERVILLE, MA - Sara Theresa (Shields) Noonan, died on Aug 6, 2019.

She was born in Barnstable, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The daughter of John F. Shields & Marie (Aylmer) Shields of Osterville, MA. She attended Sacred Heart High School in Kingston and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. After graduation, Sara had two sons and worked at Barnstable High School in the main office for over 30 years. After retiring she lived in Naples, FL for several years. She loved to go walking, biking and swimming. She also loved to spend time with her friends and her large family which included many nephews and nieces.

Sara is predeceased by her siblings Robert Shields, Agnes (Shields) Crocker, John Shields Jr, Ann Marie (Shields) Dodson and Margret (Shields) Farrell. She is survived by her two sons, Sean Noonan and Chris Noonan, and her siblings, Thomas Shields, Mary (Shields) Bolton and Stephen Shields.

A Wake will be held during the hours of 4pm - 7pm on Monday August 12, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:am on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at the Our Lady of Assumption Church, Osterville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cape Cod Hospital Healthcare Foundation P.O.Box 370 Hyannis, MA. 02601-9978.
