Shelley Crosby

Shelley Ann Crosby, 56, of Sandwich, formerly of Colorado, passed away unexpectedly at Brigham and Women’s Hospital with her loving family by her side on December 18, 2018. She was the dear wife of Brad Crosby and devoted mother to Jake Crosby. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Whalen.

Shelley graduated from Cañon City High School in Colorado and moved to Vail, where she met her beloved husband of 28 years. He was able to lure her back to Cape Cod where her passion of the mountains now included her love of the ocean.

She was also a graduate of Cape Cod Community College Medical Assistant program. She was an embellished story teller and loved social gatherings. She was skilled at interior decorating and enjoyed boating, and skiing especially with her family. She was a loving wife, fearless mother, sister and cherished aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Each one knew they were her favorite.

Shelley is survived by her loving husband Brad and adoring son Jake Crosby of Sandwich, MA, loving in-laws, her brother Tom Whalen and family in Colorado and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A visitation will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. (RTE 151) on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 10:30am to 12:00pm. A funeral service will follow in the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home at 12:00pm. Burial will be private.
