Stanley J. Masalsky, Jr.

Stanley J. Masalsky, Jr., 81, of Falmouth, passed peacefully on August 7, 2019, while being comforted by his loving wife, Carol, following a long bout with cancer.

Stan was born on January 8, 1938 to Theresa (Brennick) and Stanley J. Masalsky, Sr. of Rumford, Maine. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Maine, Stan married Carol F. Pusen of Boston, MA. Stan and Carol lived in Stoughton, MA, where they raised three sons, Paul, Joseph, and Christopher. Stan served for four decades as an educator and administrator in the Canton Public Schools, initially as a teacher and coach. He is best remembered as Canton High School's long-time Athletic Director - and his service in that position earned him the title of National Athletic Director of the Year in 1998. After his retirement, Stan and Carol resided between Falmouth, MA and The Villages, Fl.

In addition to his beloved wife and sons, he is survived by his caring sisters Barbara, Linda, Jane and Sarah, his loving grandchildren: Ellen, Libby, David, Andrew, Joseph, Joel and Henry, and dozens of wonderful friends and co-workers. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 9th at 10:00 AM at Saint Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy (Route 28), Falmouth, MA. Burial immediately following in the church cemetery.
