Stephen Tribe Chase

Stephen Tribe Chase, born May 5, 1954, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2017 at the age of 63.

Steve, a multigenerational Cape Codder, is survived by his daughters, Alyssa and Hilary Chase, their mother Joan Garneau, brothers Edward L., Sidney (Larry), and sisters Judith Sirch, Saunie Canuso and Pam Chase. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. Steve was predeceased by his beloved mother Dorothy (Dot) Silvestri, step father Anthony Silvestri and his father Sidney C. Chase.

Steve grew up in Centerville, graduated from Barnstable High School class of ’72 and attended Bentley College. Steve was a people person who loved to laugh. He loved New England sports, golf, Craigville Beach, Four Seas Ice Cream and being with family. Steve’s greatest joy in life was being a father to Alyssa and Hilary. He was encouraging and loving and always found time to tell the people around him just how proud he was of his two girls.

All are welcome to attend the wake on Friday, August 4th from 4-7pm at John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills, MA.
