Suzette Marie Lebel

1933 ∼ 2017

Suzette Marie Lebel, formerly Osterville, passed away at the age of 84 on June 4th, 2017 at her home in Crowley, Louisiana.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Paul T. Lebel Sr. in August 2014.  Suzette was the eldest daughter of Jules and Susie Menou of Iota, Louisiana.

Suzette was a long time member of both the Hyannis and Osterville Garden Clubs .She will also be remembered by Our Lady of Assumption Church in Osterville, MA for involvement in the lady's guild. Over the years she crocheted many hats that were donated by the church to the patients at St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.  She was very talented at cooking, gardening, knitting and sewing as well. These traits will live on in her children and grandchildren.  Suzette had a great love for her husband and family and that love will live on through all of us.

She is survived by her four children Paul T Lebel Jr. of Cambridge, MA, Donald J. Lebel of Forestdale, MA Nanette Lebel Johnson of Cape Carteret, NC and Andree M. Lebel of Weymouth, MA and their spouses.

Suzette also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, her 8 siblings and many nieces and nephews of Louisiana.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 17th at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 76 Wianno Ave., Osterville, MA.  Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine St., Centerville.
