Thadeus “Ted” Wojnarowski

Thadeus (Ted) Wojnarowski of Harwich Port and Marco Island, Florida passed away on Thursday evening, August 30th at home holding hands with his loving wife Carole and devoted daughter Kara.

Born in Springfield, MA on May 18, 1940, he was the son of Thadeus and Genevieve (Lisowski) Wojnarowski.  He was the caring “Teddy” to Carole for 51 years and the thoughtful and generous father to Kara and her husband Ken Chouinard, Michele Wojnarowski, and Brent Wojnarowski who predeceased him.

Ted graduated from Western New England College with a degree in mechanical engineering which served his family and many others well as he could repair or design nearly everything.  He was plant engineer for various companies in Western MA before retiring to Harwich Port. He was a member of the Chatham Harwich Newcomers and the Cranberry Valley Golf Course where he spent many happy hours prior to his illnesses.  He cherished his family, especially when they could share simple pleasures together.  Ted and Carole loved spending warm winters playing bocce and enjoying social events and activities with friends in Marco Island. Teddy and Dad, you will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever and ever.  We love you.

A memorial tribute to Ted’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 15th at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church in West Harwich.  Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Cape Cod Hospice and Palliative Care, 434 Route 134, Suite D3, South Dennis, MA 02660 ( or to the EMTs of the Harwich Fire Department, 175 Sisson Road, Harwich, MA 02645.
