Thomas Kenneth Hall, 75, of Bridgewater, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 2, 2018.
Tom was born on January 21, 1943 to Charlotte Elizabeth (Keith) and Kenneth Watson Hall. He was a graduate of Bridgewater High School (1961) and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (1966). Tom was an accomplished pharmacist and co-owned the Weir Pharmacy in Taunton for over 20 years. In the spirit of “always thinking of others,” he kept the pharmacy open during the Blizzard of 1978. At home, Tom had a farm and enjoyed gardening and puttering in his yard and workshop. He enjoyed repairing things and teaching others how to use tools. Tom enjoyed his family, taking long road trips and had a never-ending passion to perfect his chocolate chip cookie recipe. He will be remembered as a kind and genuine person.
Tom was a life-long resident in the town he loved – Bridgewater, MA. He was an active member of the town Planning Board, Master Plan Committee and Energy Committee. He volunteered for the Rotary Club and Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School’s TJ2 Robotics team.
Tom was predeceased by his brothers, William and Donald Hall and his first wife, Barbara (Kingsley) Hall. He is survived by his wife, Anne March Hall, his siblings, Alice (Hall) and David Hattenbrun, Wayne and Judy Hall, Barbara (Hall) and Lee Machado; his children, Jeannette (Hall) and Kevin Dyer, Joseph and Teresa Hall, Katherine Hall and Paul Frisco, Mark and Kelly Hall, step-children, Jennifer (Botelho) and Mike Barry, Michael and Desiree Botelho, Bryan Botelho; grandchildren, John and Sarah Dyer, Samantha and Nicholas Hall, Robert and Cecilia Hasomeris, Kyle Frisco, Benjamin and Elizabeth Hall, Adriana and Patrick Barry, and Dylan and Brody Botelho; great-grandsons: Matthew Phelps and Dominic Dyer and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 11th at the Stoneforge Publick House, 90 Paramount Dr., Raynham. Visitation hours are 5-7pm followed by a Memorial service from 7-7:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas K. Hall Memorial Fund – Bridgewater Savings Bank, 5 Scotland Blvd, Bridgewater, MA 02324. The funds will be donated to the Tufts Surgical ICU team and a scholarship fund.
