G. Thomas O’Donnell, III

Cotuit - On Monday, August 5, 2019, G. Thomas O’Donnell III, loving husband and brother, passed away at age 65 surrounded by his family.

Tom was born on January 31, 1954 in Quincy MA to George and Jean (Conroy) O’Donnell. On July 11, 1987, he married Sophie (Degenhardt) O’Donnell.

Tom is a graduate of St. Michael’s College in Winooski VT.  Before he retired to Cape Cod, he worked for The Boeing Company for 20 years.  He was known for his quick wit, love of history, watches, traveling, good food and fine wine.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas O’Donnell Jr. , and his mother, Jean O’Donnell. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sophie, his sister Mary Jean Thibodeau and her husband David, his sister Karen Sousa-Kalil and her husband Terry, his brother Peter O’Donnell and his wife Marie, and his sister Alicia Tierney and her husband David as well as several sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, August 11 at the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd., Marstons Mills.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 So. Main St., Centerville.
