East Bridgewater-Arlington, VA- Tiffany M. Joslyn, 33, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from injuries in a motor vehicle accident along with her younger brother Derrick Joslyn of RI. Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of Robert T. Joslyn and his fiancé Melody Hill of Middleboro and Patricia (Cabral) Anderson and ‘Aunt” Michelle Grushkin of Brockton. The granddaughter of Marjorie Joslyn of Brockton and the later Robert J. Joslyn and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues.
Tiffany was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 2000, Clark University with High Honors in 2004, and George Washington Law School in Washington, DC with Honors in 2007. She was admitted to the Bar of Massachusetts and Rhode Island in 2008 and the Somensen Institute for Political Leadership of the University of VA, Political Leaders Program, Class of 2011.
Her career included a 1 year Judicial Clerkship at the District of Columbia of the Court of Appeals in Washington, DC. She also was on the Research Counsel, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and most recently, The Deputy Chief Council for the US House of Representative Committee on the Judiciary Sub Committee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations.
Tiffany also served in Numerous Volunteer Public Service Organizations, including the AGLA and The Arlington County Human Rights Commission.
Tiffany always had the BIGGEST Brightest Smile and the most positive outlook in life. Never had a bad word to say about anyone. Tiff enjoyed making homemade tutu's, bowling, watching movies, board/card games and being incredibly devoted to her job. She loved going to the beach while visiting her Family in Massachusetts! Tiffany loved animals especially her beloved cat "Ella" and Her Family and Friends!
Tiffany’s brother, who is having services in Pawtucket RI on Monday (please visit www.Trippfuneralhome.com for Derek’s funeral info), had resided in East Bridgewater and Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland in September of 2015. He was a graduate of Norton High School, Norton, MA and received an Associate Degree with High Honors from ITT Tech. He was currently a Route Sales Associate for Frito-Lay and an avid Patriots fan. He leaves behind his wife Jillian R. (Hutton) Joslyn.
For Tiffany there will be a visitation period on Wednesday, March 16th from 4-7:30pm and a funeral service beginning at 7:30pm at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater.
Burial will be private.
