Virginia H. (Raymond) Pimental

Virginia H. (Raymond) Pimental, age 89, of Falmouth was Called Home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. “Ginny” was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. After graduation she worked at the Brockton Hospital before moving to Falmouth where she met and married the late Robert (Bob) Pimental.

During her years in Falmouth, she worked in a number of jobs including Sears, Briarwood and ProCuts which she “retired” from at the age of 80.

Ginny, also known as “Cookie”, enjoyed many hobbies and activities including bowling, line-dancing, ceramics, karaoke, and meeting with friends for coffee in the afternoons.

She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, and the TOP’s club. And, she enjoyed traveling with friends and her trips to Florida with her late husband.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; She leaves her loving daughter Susan Matteson and her husband Mark; her devoted son Robert and his wife Carmel; her adored granddaughter Emma Weinell and her husband Kyle; And, her dear sister Dorothy Raymond. She was also sister of the late Mary Hannon, and late Joseph Raymond.

The family would like to thank the staff at JML for the love and care that was provided during her final days.

Graveside services will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 167 East Falmouth Highway (Rt. 28) East Falmouth on Friday, October 16 at 11:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice
