She grew up in East Bridgewater and was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 62 and later studied psychology at Harvard University. Virginia, also known as Ginne, was a dedicated homemaker who loved her children! She was intelligent, talented, and funny. Ginne excelled in writing, drawing, and music. She was a phenomenal cook at home and thoroughly enjoyed making meals, hosting holidays, and preparing foods for family parties. To relax she would take her kids, and their friends, to Whitehorse Beach, dine out, knit, garden, and take pictures of her family. Ginne filled her home with love and that extended to the many animals she had over the years, but she especially loved dogs.
Ginne was the former wife of the late Kenneth A. Burr and loving mother of Eric R. Burr and Tracey Doherty of Bridgewater, Charles C. Burr and April Saia of Bridgewater, and Kendra L.
