William D. Cash Sr.

1950 ∼ 2019

William Cash "Big Bill", 68, of Brewster, passed away of natural causes at Cape Cod Hospital on June 12th.

He was born on November 13, 1950 at Cape Cod Hospital to the late Russell and Hilda Cash.  He had one brother: the late Francis "Butch" Cash.
William is survived by two sons: William Cash Jr and David Cash; along with a niece, nephew, and many cousins.

William grew up in Brewster and was a graduate of Nauset High School.  Shortly thereafter, he began his life-long career as a mechanic (specializing in Volkswagen and Subaru).  He also spent many years working at Ocean Edge Golf Resort maintaining the machinery that took care of the golf course.  William was also quite the outdoors-man: enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing, and motorcycling.

William loved 'Auto Racing' since before he was part of the Pit Crew for the Meservey Racing family out of Chatham.  However, his true passion was Drag Racing with friends John and Patty Diemer; where he was the crew chief for JD Racing of Cape Cod.

There will be no formal services, but a "Celebration of Life" is being organized with a date TBD.  Please keep an eye on Big Bill's Facebook Page for future details.
