William G. McLennan

William G. McLennan of Bridgewater, died on October 24 at the Baremoore Health Center in Brockton at the age of 80. Bill was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Thomas and Louise (Beetham) McLennan. In his adult years he spent many years in Gloucester.

Bill started working as a laborer in the construction field at an early age and worked for many different companies throughout his life. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the piano and playing the drums. In his early years he even played in a band called The William McLennan Band. Bill liked to spend time at Flea Markets, whether it was buying things or selling things. He enjoyed doing puzzles and making different models. Bill was also an avid salt water fisher who enjoyed fishing for stripers.

Bill is survived by Joan M. McLennan and was the Father of Billy McLennan and his wife Mimi of Pennsylvania, Danny G. McLennan and his wife Licha of Pennsylvania, William McLennan of Gloucester, Joseph W. McLennan of Salem, Charlene M. Dottin and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater, and Tommy McLennan of Quincy. Brother of Thomas, Margaret, and Patsy. “Grampy” of Daniel, Corey, Chelsea, Justin, Kiersten, Cheyanne, and Jayden.
