William H. Hewins IV

William H. Hewins IV, 73, is a lifelong resident of his hometown Falmouth.  Billy loved everything about Falmouth.  He is a 5th generation resident, tried and true.  He loved his 442, his blue challenger, and was an avid collector of model cars. He also loved the five years he shared with Sadie, the mini-Doberman Pincher he and Debbi adopted. Billy enjoyed going to the famous 2:30pm coffee shop at MacDonald's with the gang every day. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots and the Red Sox.

Billy served in the U.S. Army and is a Bronze Star Vietnam Veteran.  He spent 38 years of dedicated employment for Wright Oil, retiring in 2003.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Deborah Plante Hewins.  He is the son of the late Alfreda Gagnon Hewins and William H. Hewins III.  Billy is also survived by his brother Dana and wife Nancy, his sister Marsha Vidal, many nieces and nephews, and all of the members of Debbi's large family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Billy may be made to the Friends of Falmouth Dogs, PO Box 438, Falmouth, MA, 02541; the Falmouth Service Center, P. O. Box 208 Falmouth, MA 02541; or the VA New England Health Care, 233 Stevens Street, Hyannis MA  02601.
