William J Fitzpatrick

William J. Fitzpatrick died November 25, 2020 at the age of 97.  He was the beloved father of William T. Fitzpatrick, Margaret Mary Fitzpatrick, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Muriel R. Fitzpatrick, and Mary Ann Hazelton. Supportive father-in-law to Donald Hazelton, Mary Bures Fitzpatrick and the late Karen Fitzpatrick and Joanne Fitzpatrick. Bill now joins his wife, Muriel Twible Fitzpatrick, of 73 years in heaven. He is loved by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren and the extended Fitzpatrick, Unanue and Hazelton families and the Sisters of Charity community. Dr. Fitzpatrick spent his life as a college professor and department chairman at Boston State College of the University of Massachusetts. His love of learning, his strong work ethic, and his Catholic values have been instilled in all the generations. Bill’s last residence was at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley where he was the star bridge player and dance partner with his wife Muriel. Due to Covid restrictions, the services are private. Donations may be sent to either the Sisters of Charity Special Needs Fund, 1543 200 Street Bayside, NY 11360 or to The Elizabeth Seton Residence, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley, MA 02481. May his soul and the soul of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
