Winifred A.  Fitzgerald

1925 ∼ 2017

Winifred A. (Essenheimer) Fitzgerald, age 91, died peacefully on January 11, 2017 in the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Winifred was born in Boston, daughter  of the late  Winifred Bell (Shannon) and  Charles A.  Essenheimer and grew up in Boston and was educated at  South Boston High School.   
Winifred was the loving wife of the late William E. Fitzgerald Sr. and devoted mother of Karen Makitis  of NH, Irene Devengenzi of Revere, Paul Fitzgerald and his wife Robin of NH, David Fitzgerald and wife Ada of Walpole, Mark Fitzgerald and his wife Genevieve of Bridgewater and the late William E. Fitzgerald Jr.. Sister of  Ruth Driscoll, Helen Acone and  the late Monica Lord, Charlie Essenheimer,  Florence Stenetiford,Ralph Essenheimer, and Lois Fantasia.  
Winifred is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater on Sat. January 14th at 9 am 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held  in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St. Bridgewater at 10:00am. 

Visiting hours Friday, January 13th from 5-8 pm.

Burial in New Calvary Cemetery Boston.
