Winifred Catherine Sullivan (Glynn), of Centerville, died peacefully on February 12, 2017. “Winnie” was 99 years YOUNG!
She astounded all of us with her energy and ability to get things done! She married “Sully” in 1938 and shared 60 years together before his passing. As parents they had the challenges of the Depression and WWII. They raised three children and provided a warm and loving home. Both knew the value of hard work.
Winnie’s family was her life. She was a homemaker and always there! She gave the security and stability so needed in all families. She had six grandchildren and fourteen great grand kids! How fortunate we all were to have her for so long!
In her later years Winnie loved to play cards and watch her favorite TV shows. She spent many winters in Florida and summers at the Cape.
